Hi there!

My name is Luke. I’m a therapist.
I enjoy what I do- a lot!

Growing is important to me. Growth never looks how I anticipate it to, and it typically ends up surprising me more than I ever thought possible. Some of the things I never imagined happening became steps of faith that took me far beyond what I had planned for my life.

That’s kind of what faith is.

It’s trying something new and having no idea what’s going to happen next.

Going to therapy is an act of faith that says, “Maybe something better exists out there. And I’d like to go find it.”

If that excites you, I’d love to hear from you.

I went to Denver Seminary for my MA in Clinical Counseling. I have worked at halfway houses, community mental health centers, and I currently operate my own private practice. I’m EMDR and Brainspotting trained. If you have any other questions, just ask. I really enjoy it when people ask questions.

When I am not a therapist, I enjoy making stir fry in the kitchen, writing randomly, jumping on a bicycle with my wife, or playing a video game with loved ones.

Finding the right therapist is a lot like trying on a pair of shoes- there might be nothing wrong with that pair of shoes, but I won’t be caught dead wearing those.

Many people ask what to expect when beginning the process of therapy, however, therapy itself is an entirely original experience depending on who is with you in that process. Each relationship you have within your life is entirely original depending on who surrounds you. The same will be true of your relationship with your therapist. Take some time and figure out what therapist is the right fit for you.

Interview your therapist! Figure out if they offer the right type of space to grow into your personalized goals. There are dozens of different styles of therapy and therapy shouldn’t be painful, in and of itself. Take a minute and look at your options!
